Ebb & Flow offers a unique array of Yoga practices for all ages and abilities. Our classes are suitable for beginners to yoga boffins. In addition to Yoga, we also offer Hot Yoga and Animal Flow Fitness Class in Co. Kerry.
Vinyasa Yoga is the main style of Yoga taught at Ebb & Flow. It’s a powerful, energetic form of yoga where students fluidly move from one pose to the next while connecting their breathing to their movements.
Yin Yoga is a complementary yoga practice to the more dynamic and invigorating yoga styles. A deliciously deep and mindful practice in which floor-based postures are held for 3-5 minutes in order to access a safe and positive ‘stress’ on the deep layers of connective tissue in the body. This allows the body to slowly stretch and unwind.
Hot Yoga is performed in a heated room because of the benefits it offers the body. Heat allows for muscles to ease through their full range of motion but is not an excuse to push muscles beyond their limits. Heat improves circulation and metabolism and strengthens the cardiovascular system. Sweating aids in detoxifying the body and rejuvenates the skin.
Animal Flow® Fitness is an innovative fitness program that combines quadrupedal and ground-based movement with elements from various bodyweight-training disciplines to create a fun, challenging workout emphasizing multi-planar, fluid movement.

About Maeve (Owner & Instructor)
Hi there! I am a certified Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga & Animal Flow Fitness instructor. I came to yoga a number of years ago, to a hot power practise known as Fierce Grace. I got started originally for fitness, as I was a reluctant runner looking for an alternative! I was also in quite a stressful, busy corporate job with a ridiculous commute and badly needed the ‘down-time’.
I got hooked on the heat and the physical benefits this form of yoga gives me, but I unexpectedly began to find myself more and more drawn in by the mental balance I came enjoy from yoga.
As I caught the bug, I began to explore other styles of yoga also, such as, Forrest Yoga, Bikram, Acroyoga, Aerial Flow, Yin & Vinyasa. It was with Vinyasa I found my true passion – blending a powerful, physical flow practise with mindfulness and breathing techniques. Yin is the opposite of the strong Yang / Vinyasa style and this balance suits my personality and personal preferences.
In more recent times, I've developed a love of Animal Flow Fitness, the freedom of movement coupled with a challenging, dynamic training program, drew me in! I'm an Instructor for this awesome workout too.
In early 2017, I made the leap, leaving Dublin and the corporate working world behind to move home to Co. Kerry. Back to my beloved beach (Banna!) to teach Yoga & Animal Flow Fitness full-time and it's been an amazing experience! It's very cool to have been the first to offer a weekly Yin Yoga class in Tralee.
My teaching experience from some great Yoga studios and with corporate clients in Dublin have led me to develop a unique style! In my classes you can expect a laid back, playful approach with strong flows. My focus tends not to be solely on physical alignment, as I bring the concept of mindfulness to the mat too and will encourage you to try this out for yourself!
And here’s the thing, it won't always be easy, sometimes it’s going to be really challenging but I promise you this, it’s absolutely worth it! Come to class and join me for some innovative sequencing, a rocking sound track and develop peace of mind. Come along and go with the flow!
