Ebb & Flow Aerial Yoga offers authentic yoga, with the support of a soft, aerial fabric hammock suspended from the ceiling — to explore, refine, and advance traditional yoga poses (asanas), both in the air and on the ground.  Strength, Mobility and Flexibility are all combined together in this revolutionary class that takes yoga to the next level. Uniquely developed for beginners thru all levels of experience. Escape the world outside suspended in a super strong, silky hammock that envelops your body like a protective cocoon.

In a small class size, you’ll explore new and traditional yoga asanas (yoga postures) with your body weight partially or fully supported. You’ll get a ‘yoga high’ by deepening your practice: experience physical release, refined strength, energetic flow, and heightened awareness of breath and body. Never more than a few feet off the ground, you’ll let go into gravity, be held in the hammock & leave blissed out!

Whether you are a long-time Yogi, or dreaming about trying Yoga for the first time, this is a fun and playful way to discover Yoga from a new perspective.

This Aerial Yoga class is not about flips & tricks (there’ll be a few if you wish to try, but it’s not an acrobatics class), instead it teaches deeper body awareness in multidimensional space.

Surrendering into the hammock, you’ll gain insight about how you hold your posture, where you’ve held chronic tension, or how you habitually move. You can expand flexibility, increase range of motion, build strength, lengthen the spine, and relax the nervous system.

Next Level Yoga Practice:

Think you’ve mastered downward-facing dog? Lean into it with the hammock, and you might notice new ah-ha’s about the posture that never would have occured to you in a usual Yoga practice.

With the hammock’s hold, gravity’s pull, and your teacher’s guidance, you will realize where you can lengthen and extend, strengthen and support, or soften and release in completely new ways – and then you can apply those same details in your regular floor Yoga practice, too.

In an aerial yoga class, you can access asanas beyond your reach in a traditional yoga class – true inversions, deeper supported backbends, attainable handstands, and cocoon-like savasanas.

You might even explore subtle Yogic teachings that become more accessible with the hammock, including pranayama (breathing exercises), bandhas (ways of directing subtle energy), or moments of meditation in levitation.

Suitable for: Uniquely developed for all levels of experience. No previous aerial, acrobatic, or Yoga experience is necessary.

Aerial Yoga 1: This class targets mobility of your joints to improve joint range of motion and muscular stability and flexibility. The hammock offers a unique feeling of being 'weightless' and supported - perfect if you have stiffness / aches or pains. Perfect for aerial / yoga & aerial yoga beginners & improvers.

Aerial Yoga 2: Suited to those with Vinyasa Yoga / Aerial Yoga experience. This one isn’t for beginners! A strong, dynamic class that builds strength, flexibility & self-confidence. Expect various inversions, innovative flows and strengthening poses. Unwind with a Shavasana in your silk cocoon & enjoy the ultimate restoration.

-Recent Surgery


-Recent Concussion or Head Injury


-Recent Stroke


-Propensity for Fainting

-Hiatal Hernia

-Sutures in any part of the body

-Recent gashes, lacerations, or wounds

-If you are taking any medications that can cause dizziness, light headedness, propensity for fainting, or extreme fatigue

Pricing: €100 for 6 weeks. Aerial Yoga classes Mondays 8pm - 9.15pm & Gentle Aerial Yoga Classes Fridays 10.15am - 11.30am. Manor West Hotel Leisure Centre, Tralee.
