All classes regardless of the level & flow intensity begin with relaxation & yogic breathing techniques to relax your body & de-stress, essential oils are used in every class to complement deep relaxation and we draw gently to a close with relaxation & meditation. Insightful cues and hands-on alignment adjustments are offered throughout each session on the mat. As a qualified Yoga Therapist, Maeve has a strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology and understands how to support each students individual needs on the mat. Having completed a Mindfulness Certification, practical techniques are also incorporated into classes.

Vinyasa is the main style of Yoga taught at Ebb & Flow. It’s a powerful, energetic form of yoga where students fluidly move from one pose to the next while connecting their breathing to their movements. It is a heat building class which makes it a vigorous and revitalizing form of physical fitness. Vinyasa flow may sound nice and relaxing but you’ll work up a sweat but also have fun along the way! It helps develop strength and flexibility in places you didn't know you had! Flows vary from the gentle / slow to the intermediate / advanced Power Flow.
Beyond Beginners Vinyasa Yoga with Guided Meditation
This relaxing weekly class is perfect if you're feeling stressed, overwhelmed or tired from the constant demands of our busy lives. The class gives you the time & space to de-stress and provides some practical tools to support you - great for a tired body & a busy mind. We will integrate mindfulness meditation, a flow style yoga, relaxation, with a soothing essential oils to help restore your body and mind for a wonderful & balanced week to come. Relieve anxiety & stress from your body, connect to your breath and take some time for YOU. Yoga relieves stress, can help with injuries, balance the nervous system and boosts your immunity.
Teens Yoga & Mindfulness
This Yoga & Mindfulness course has been designed for teenagers to enjoy the benefits of Yoga in a non-competitive environment. Focus & concentration become easier as you learn tools to help deal with stress or exam pressures and techniques for relaxation. Switch off from the activity focused life outside, feel calmer with more energy after chilling-out on your mat. Open to all from 13 – 18 years old, especially beginners. Flexibility & fitness not required! Guys & Girls equally welcome! Maeve has experience teaching yoga to teens in Tralee in partnership with Kerry Adolescent & Child Mental Health Services, Colaiste Gleann Li, Gael Cholaiste Chiarri & Rahoonane Community Groups (Teens). She also has experience teaching young adults with ADHD, Dyspraxia, Anxiety, Depression etc.
Relaxing Yin Yoga & Mindfulness
Yin is a complementary yoga practice to the more dynamic and invigorating yoga styles. A deliciously deep and mindful practice in which floor-based postures are held for 3-5 minutes in order to access a safe and positive ‘stress’ on the deep layers of connective tissue in the body. This allows the body to slowly stretch and unwind. As this practice emphasizes stillness and silence, Yin Yoga prepares both the body and the mind for deeper experiences in meditation. Various meditation techniques (both Yin & Yang styles) are offered and added specialist information such as the physical benefits of Traditional Chinese Medical theory are shared; offering something unique and insightful to this deep practise. Bring your blanket & a cushion for ultimate restoration and relaxation.
Yin / Yang Yoga
We will focus on releasing tension & stress in our bodies. The class is part Vinyasa Yoga (Yang) and gentle Yin Yoga. Starting off with relaxation, we then move dynamically warming up muscles & getting our hearts pumping. Gentle Yin follows, allowing our bodies to sit in stillness through longer, deep stretches - preparing the body & mind for deeper experiences in meditation. Perfect for Yoga beginners to boffins.
A more gentle yoga class to help you get back to moving your body. Therapeutic Yoga is a particularly effective practice for those recovering from, or living with, injury or illness. Or the class can be perfect for you if you just want to get to know your body and what works for you in a yoga class. Therapeutic Yoga combines restorative yoga (supported postures), gentle yoga, breathwork and guided meditation techniques in such a way that it is an excellent choice for those who need something gentle yet effective for bringing the body into balance and reducing stress. Small class sizes to ensure individual support & guidance. Individual consultations with each student prior to registration to ensure the class is tailored to your bespoke needs.
Yoga for Pregnancy
Pregnancy is the beginning of a wonderful journey between a mother and her baby. It is also a time of physical and emotional change, by practising prenatal yoga a woman can prepare both physically and mentally for childbirth and beyond. See Yoga for Pregnancy page for full details.

Aerial Yoga offers authentic yoga, with the support of a soft, aerial fabric hammock suspended from the ceiling — to explore, refine, and advance traditional yoga poses (asanas), both in the air and on the ground. Strength, Mobility and Flexibility are all combined together in this revolutionary class that takes yoga to the next level. Uniquely developed for beginners thru all levels of experience. Escape the world outside suspended in a super strong, silky hammock that envelops your body like a protective cocoon. In a small class size, you’ll explore new and traditional yoga asanas (yoga postures) with your body weight partially or fully supported. Never more than a few feet off the ground, you’ll let go into gravity, be held in the hammock & leave blissed out!
Gentle Aerial Yoga in this class, the aerial hammocks are hung lower to the ground. The poses are gentle stretches and we target mobility of your joints to improve joint range of motion and muscular stability and flexibility. The hammock offers a unique feeling of being 'weightless' and supported - perfect if you have stiffness / aches or pains.
Generally a drop- in class is €13, a 6 week block is €60 & 7 week blocks are €70
Aerial Yoga is priced at €100 for a 6 week course, the class size is very small for individual attention & support
Yoga for Pregnancy 6 week course investment is €90
10 class packs are €100 and offer a little more flexibility (excludes Banna Beach Hotel, Aerial Yoga & Yoga for Pregnancy classes).
Unlimited monthly passes are €110 (excludes Banna Beach Hotel, Yoga for Pregnancy & Aerial Yoga classes)
7 week courses in Banna Beach Hotel are €65 for leisure centre members & €80 for non-members - payable directly to the Hotel.
Events & pop-up classes have varying rates. In some venues, discounts may be offered if you are a Club/ gym member. It's best to confirm this when you call to book your space.

What class is most suitable for me?
To make it easy to decide what class is right for you, classes have been aligned to different levels. These are just general guidelines and we are all very different, so please don't hesitate to have a chat with me if there's a class you're interested in or have specific requirements.
Level 1: Awesome for all, including beginners
Level 2: Great if you've a little yoga experience
Level 3: Perfect if you fancy a more challenging flow & a faster pace! Yoga experience recommended
