All classes regardless of the level & flow intensity begin with relaxation & yogic breathing techniques to relax your body & de-stress, doTERRA Essential Oils are used in every class to complement deep relaxation and we draw gently to a close with relaxation & meditation. Insightful cues and hands-on alignment adjustments are offered throughout each session on the mat. As a qualified Yoga Therapist, Maeve has a strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology and understands how to support each students individual needs on the mat. Having completed a Mindfulness Certification, practical techniques are also incorporated into classes.

All classes are 1 hour in length, unless otherwise specified. Drop-in options available subject to availability. Booking essential for all classes please :)

What class is most suitable for me?
To make it easy to decide what class is right for you, classes have been aligned to different levels. These are just general guidelines and we are all very different, so please don't hesitate to have a chat with me if there's a class you're interested in or have specific requirements.

  • Level 1: Awesome for all, including beginners

  • Level 2: Great if you've a little yoga experience

  • Level 3: Perfect if you fancy a more challenging flow & a faster pace! Yoga experience recommended

Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Vinyasa is the main style of Yoga taught at Ebb & Flow. It’s a powerful, energetic form of yoga where students fluidly move from one pose to the next while connecting their breathing to their movements. It is a heat building class which makes it a revitalizing Yoga practice. It helps develop strength and flexibility as well as giving you time to chill, re-energise & get some headspace - blissful right?!

Absolute Beginners Course: An ideal way to begin your discovery of yoga or as a reminder of the key poses and alignment principles in a relaxed, friendly, supportive environment. During these weeks you will be introduced to the basics of yoga, to lay the foundations that will help you feel ready to jump into any group class confidently or to roll out your mat at home. We have a limited number of people in each course to ensure you get the care and attention that you may need to support you. By the end of your course, you will leave with a better understanding of the basic postures; their terms and names, breathing techniques including a breakdown of helpful breathing exercises and an introduction to the history and philosophy of Yoga. Each week is designed so that a new topic is covered (with a little refresher of the previous week) so that you can get to grips with it all progressively and in your own time. After each class you will also receive support materials so that you can practise at home if you wish as well as catch up if you missed a class. This course is expertly structured to help you develop confidence & passion for your Yoga. Come join us!

Vinyasa 1: A moderate but dynamic flow focusing on relaxation, foundational alignment and physical awareness. The class focuses on correct alignment in postures and breathing techniques and introduces you to the vinyasa flow. This class has a steady pace and focuses more on the basics, which is ideal for beginners or experienced practitioners who want to work on alignment , basics and learn about the foundations of Yoga as a practice. It’s not all about the physical though, as you’ll learn to relax both your mind & body in this class. Open to all levels including beginners.

Vinyasa 2: Think Align & Refine! Level 2 Vinyasa provides the opportunity to develop strength and flexibility of body and mind. This is a flowing class which incorporates standing poses, balances, forward bends, backbends, twists, hip openers and occasionally inversions. Each week we build on elements of a flow sequence, practicing & refining pose alignment (we break the poses down covering alignment principles and some fascinating details!) and learning modifications for our own individual bodies (you’ll really get to understand what works for your body, what feels good & how you can adapt Yoga to become YOUR yoga). It also make an excellent precursor to our Vinyasa 3 each week, to learn the nuts & bolts of the flow before diving right in!) It also focuses on some of the deeper elements of Yoga as a practice. Some Yoga experience is recommended for this one.

Vinyasa 3: Our Level 3 Vinyasa classes focus on the true pace of Vinyasa - one breath, one movement! We also offer progressions towards advanced variations of arm balances, backbends and inversions. Perfect for anyone wanting to expand their practice, work up a good sweat and go deeper inside body & mind. This class embraces core & upper body strengthening and invites you to rise to your own level of challenge. Less time is spent on foundational elements, so we can really get into our Flow State - longer, creative, challenging flow sequences that will have you totally “in the zone”. You’ll experience deeper Savasanas (relaxation) than ever before after this class! Open to those with Yoga experience.

Yin Yoga & Mindfulness 1

Slow, deep & delicious………Yin is a complementary yoga practice to the more dynamic and invigorating yoga styles. A deliciously deep and mindful practice in which floor-based postures are held for 3-5 minutes in order to access a safe and positive ‘stress’ on the deep layers of connective tissue in the body. To be honest they can get a bit “sticky” but Yin aims to teach us patience and non-reactivity. The mild intensity and time, allow your body to slowly stretch and unwind. As this practice emphasizes stillness and quiet, Yin Yoga prepares both the body and the mind for deeper experiences in meditation. Various meditation techniques are taught and added specialist information such as the physical benefits of Traditional Chinese Medical theory are shared; offering something unique and insightful to this special practice. Our Yin Yoga class is THE most blissful way to wind your week to a close & welcome in the weekend :) Bring your blanket & a cushion for ultimate slice of heaven! Yin-Yasa 1

Yin - Yasa is a combination of Vinyasa 1 & Yin Yoga. A mix of Yin & Yang. Perfect for balancing out the body & mind. It’s a practice that balances slow-paced Yin yoga with traditional Yang yoga (Vinyasa). Think slow and steady Vinyasa flow followed by deep, long hold postures with an emphasis on mindful movement. The best of both worlds! This is one of the most popular classes of the week, so book early!

Private small group and individual sessions

Sometimes the class environment might not suit an individual, especially where certain health conditions are a matter for concern, for busy people who can't commit to a class or for those wanting to further their own practice with a greater level of bespoke support. A private class acknowledges all those aspects and celebrates your individuality through sequences and practices which have been hand picked to perfectly support your body and mind. You'll receive plenty of personalised tips and hands-on-assists throughout the class . Oftentimes an individual class is enough to get the fire going again and sort minor mis-alignment in the body. However if you have a bigger injury or simply want to enjoy regular personalised tuition we can help set you up with more regular schedule depending on your needs & any constraints you might be working with.

Classes are approximately 1 hour & start at €50 for a 1-2-1 class. Support materials such as hand-outs / videos / resources can be provided should you require at-home support between our sessions. Semi-private or small group rates vary. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you'd like to know more.
