What is Yoga Therapy?

Yoga Therapy is the adaptation of Yoga practices for people with health or fitness challenges or particular health conditions. As a Yoga Therapist, I formulate specific Yoga practices such as postures, breathing techniques, mindfulness & relaxation techniques to help relieve suffering, manage & improve health conditions / injuries and promote health & wellbeing. Each session is tailored to the needs of a small group or to the individual to promote healing.

Medical research shows that Yoga Therapy is among the most effective complementary therapies for several ailments.

It is typically conducted on a 1-2-1 basis or in small groups. The first Yoga Therapy session is 75mins and includes a full patient history to best ascertain the reason for the session and how we can best work together.
