This 5 Week mini Yoga & Mindfulness course has been designed for teenagers to enjoy the benefits of Yoga in a non-competitive environment. Focus & concentration become easier as you learn tools to help deal with stress or exam pressures and techniques for relaxation.


Switch off from the activity focused life outside, feel calmer with more energy after chilling-out on your mat. Open to all from 13 – 17 years old, especially beginners. Flexibility & fitness not required! Guys & Girls equally welcome!

• Where: Baile Mhuire Day Care Centre, Balloonagh, Tralee

• When: Fridays 5.30pm - 6.15pm

• Bring: Water & yourself! Mats provided

• Wear: Comfy stretchy clothes (e.g.) leggings/ tracksuit & t-shirt

• Investment: €38 (includes mat & blanket)

Your Teacher:
Tralee native and owner of Ebb & Flow Yoga - Maeve Ferris is a certified Vinyasa, Yin Yoga Aerial Yoga & Mindfulness Teacher. She has also completed a Diploma in Yoga Therapy. Her ethos is that Yoga is for everyone & every body! You can expect a laid back, encouraging approach. Maeve has experience teaching yoga to teens in Tralee in partnership with Kerry Adolescent & Child Mental Health Services. She also has experience teaching young adults with ADHD, Dyspraxia, Anxiety, Depression etc.

Are there minimum/maximum age requirements?
Teenagers aged from 13 - 18 years old are most welcome to attend. Please feel free to contact Maeve 087-3679132 for further info.

Do I need parental/guardianship consent?
Yes. For insurance purposes you will need to bring a signed copy of consent with you to our first class. This letter of consent will be emailed to you once you have made a booking.

I'm new to Yoga, is this course suitable for me?
Yes. All levels and abilities are most welcome.

Can parents attend?

Parents are welcome to call or meet with Maeve in advance but the class is for teens.

The venue:
The venue is a safe, clean, comfortable space. It is not open to the public during classes.

What do I need to bring with me?
If you have a yoga mat you are welcome to bring it along, but mats can also be provided for you. Wear warm and comfortable clothing that you can move freely in.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from class?
There is parking in Baile Mhuire for pick up / drop - off.
