Earth into Summer: Charity Yoga Class, Meditation & a Cuppa

I am delighted to invite you to a Yoga Class to raise funds for local Nurse, Acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner Suzanne Barron. At this charity class, we will help Suzanne fundraise for Acupuncture Relief Project, providing free primary health care to rural Nepali's affected by poverty, natural disaster and conflict. 100% of your ticket price goes to support this charity, I (Maeve) am giving my time and energy free of charge to support Suzanne.

Suzanne will travel to Nepal in September 2023 to support a volunteer program and a non-governmental organisation (NGO) that provides free primary medical care, including acupuncture, to rural communities in Nepal that have been impacted by conflict, extreme poverty, and natural disasters. She is on a mission to spread the word about this amazing non-profit organisation and raise as much money as she can in advance of my trip. As this project relies solely on donations, sponsorships and volunteers.

The medical supplies, such as needles, herbal remedies, and Western medications, that Suzanne will require during my time in Nepal will be paid for with your kind donations; in country costs including local interpreters, as well as funds to permit this astounding project to continue in the future. Suzanne says “It humbles me to have the opportunity to use such valuable skills I have learnt the past three years to assist those most in need”.

Kindly note: Suzanne will be covering all personal costs (flights, visas, uniform, sleeping bags etc.) herself and all donations made will go directly to this project. Please support this project by making a donation through purchasing a ticket and sharing this event with your friends and colleagues. Or if you would prefer to simply make a donation, that is also much appreciated. Whether it's $500 or $5 or somewhere in between, no amount is too great or too small.   It all adds up and helps fund a wonderful cause. Every dollar/euro we collect goes directly to the purchase of medical supplies and operating expenses of our field clinic.

Every dollar/euro allows us to provide one patient treatment. $20 pays for an interpreter for 10 days! $50 pays for one practitioner's clinic supplies for one week! $100 pays all of our clinic expenses for one day!  Think for a moment about how much impact we can have when we can treat 120 people for as little as $100.
